2007-10-01 - Like Water For Spinach
And...I'm spent. Seriously, this was the season that couldn't end soon enough. And I was trying to stay up watching Baseball Tonight last night as they did a Web Gem for each team for the year, but I'm pretty sure I missed the AL East. I just couldn't do it. So tired. So anyway, while I don't know what they picked, my pick would've been Markakis going into the stands in Boston. He really shouldn't have been able to come up with that one. Coincidentally, Markakis was also chosen as Most Valuable Oriole. He definitely deserved it. (I'm sure Bedard would've won it if he'd not been injured, but, moving on...) My pick for the World Series is Cubs vs. Indians. I'm extremely biased in rooting for the Cubs, though. Another thing lately, I seem to have acquired some sort of magic touch in the kitchen. This morning I made oatmeal in one of my mom's new pots, and it was oddly smooth and creamy, almost not like oats at all. Also, last week the spinach turned out great. Not hardly stringy and it tasted good. I ate practically all of mine. Weird. We'll see if there's any other culinary triumphs this week. I'm almost to typing. My fingers feel the need to keep busy. |
