2007-08-11 - A Note From a Loyal O's Fan
After reading in the Sun what Brian Roberts had to say about lack of fan support, I just feel the need to reiterate: if I were down there, I would be there. And I'm sure there are others like me. I've been supporting this team for ten losing seasons. Really, I didn't get serious about baseball until 1998. I'm sure I've mentioned it. Being outnumbered by Red Sox fans sucks extremely; I've been to some of those games. I just really wanted to say that. I wish I could say more. I wish I could do more, but I'm so low-profile I don't even exist. And I would be remiss if I didn't toot my Bedard horn. He didn't deserve to lose and for once they did something about it.
