2005-11-29 - Be kind to me, or treat me mean
As you can see, I bought the new Fiona Apple cd for my birthday. I was repeating the chorus of "Extraordinary Machine" in my head during class tonight to keep me calm, but still my heart beat faster and my chest tightened. The nerves are strong in this one. As for the presentation? Well, it sucked rocks. I'm sure not deserving of anything higher than a B, that's for sure. Hopefully, never again in my life will I have to do that. Then again, what do you expect in two days' worth of work? (Shh...I totally procrastinated. Danged holidays.) Speaking of which, well now I don't know where I was going with that. Am I going to get Prof. a present or not? I need to find out where I can buy it, first. We actually managed to have a decent meeting tonight, as opposed to last week's unreponsive mind-wandering (on my part, of course). This time, at least he knows I care, that I take my work seriously. I'm gonna sleep tonight. |
