2007-03-02 - The Exhibition Season is upon us

I'm in a better mood today than I've been in a while. Maybe because the sun is shining. Maybe because it's March. Perhaps because I was sick most of February (it's a short month; it happens). I finally have my voice back and I'm singing along to XM Radio (flipping between Lucy and Ethel, in case you were wondering). Spring is coming. I saw a rabbit the other day. There's a spider crawling on the sunroom furniture. Craptown has worse air than 96% of the country and I need to get the hell out of here.

But other than that, I'm a good mood, really. Maybe because my sister is coming home today for the World's Earliest Spring Break. I wrote two pages today, maybe two and a half. I just have to keep pressing forward. I need to take what I've been given and run with it. On Fred they played one of my favorite songs of all time, The Sundays' "Here's Where the Story Ends." I don't know how old that song is, but I've been searching that long to identify it.

I have a renewed drive today. The cynical side of me says, we'll see how that lasts. The rest of me says, I don't care, today is enough for now. Head Voice Fight!
